Services for Raymond J. Bovanizer, a former Union Carbide chemical operator, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.

Bovanizer, 81, died Thursday (March 30, 1995) in his home on Porter Road after a brief illness.

A Niagara Falls native, he worked 36 years for Union Carbide, retiring in 1976.

Bovanizer was a life member of the Lodge 346, Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks.

His wife, the former Helen Williams, died in 1983.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia A. Mills, and two grandchildren.
