LOCKPORT MAN CONVICTED IN COCAINE SALE INCIDENT

A County Court jury which deliberated about eight hours over a two-day period Thursday convicted a Lockport man of selling and possessing cocaine on Oct. 13, 1993, but cleared him of drug possession and selling in an Oct. 4, 1993, incident.

William Coleman, 37, of 250 Genesee St., faces sentencing May 2 by Judge Amy J. Fricano on two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of third-degree criminal sale stemming from the sales of cocaine to an undercover police agent.

Testimony in his trial began Monday.
