The Finger Lakes Race Track opens its season Saturday with an all-trifecta card starting at 1:15 p.m.
The Canandaigua thoroughbred track has scheduled 174 days of racing through Dec. 5.
Racing generally will be Fridays through Tuesdays, except for Palm Sunday/Monday and Easter Sunday/Monday observances of April 9-10 and 16-17. Post time is 1:15 p.m. on all Friday, Saturday and Sunday cards and 12:30 p.m. on all Tuesday programs. Monday cards on April 3 and 24 and May 1 start at 12:30 p.m.
Fridays will be Seniors Day with free admission and a free program to every patron age 60 and over.
The stakes schedule is topped by the $200,000 Grade III Finger Lakes Budweiser Breeders Cup on July 4, the $125,000 New York Derby and $75,000 New York Oaks on Aug. 26 and the $160,000 New York Breeders' Futurity on Sept. 30.
