A woman reported she was attacked Wednesday afternoon while in-line skating on the waterfront, according to Central District police.
The attack occurred at about 1:30 p.m. near 50 Lakefront Blvd., officers were told. The woman reported that a man knocked her to the ground, jumped on top of her and tried to take her clothes off.
The woman said she was cut by an object the man was carrying and that he also punched her in the face, police said.
The attacker was a white man who appeared to be in his 30s, she reported. He was about 6 feet tall, weighed about 170 pounds and was wearing a white jogging suit.
