The Visitors Center at the Niagara Power Project will reopen and the Schoellkopf Geological Museum will begin its spring hours of operation Saturday.
The Visitors Center and Power Vista at the edge of the Niagara River gorge in the Town of Lewiston has been closed for several months for renovations that included work to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Beginning Saturday, the free center operated by the New York Power Authority will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The Schoellkopf Geological Museum, which is along the North Robert Moses Parkway near the American Falls, has been open for reduced hours during the winter. Effective Saturday, it, too, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through May 25.
Admission to the museum is 50 cents; children under 6 are free.
