YIELDS DECLINE ON TREASURY NOTES

Yields on two-year Treasury notes fell in Tuesday's auction to the lowest level in six months.

The high yield was 6.72 percent, down from 7.0 percent at the last auction on Feb. 22. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 6 5/8 percent with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,983.
