Services for Matthew J. Plauman, 20, a diesel mechanic and volunteer firefighter who was killed in a traffic accident, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Matthias Episcopal Church at Main and Maple streets in East Aurora.
Burial will be in Marilla Cemetery, Marilla.
He died Monday (March 27, 1995) of injuries he suffered when his car collided with a fuel tanker truck at Walden Avenue and Townline Road in the Town of Alden.
Born in Rochester, he was a longtime resident of East Aurora. He was a 1992 graduate of East Aurora High School and was employed at Fleet Maintenance in West Seneca. He was a member of the Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his parents, Frederick C. and Deborah M.; a sister, Pamela; and a brother, Mark, all of East Aurora; his paternal grandfather, Frederick J. Plauman; and his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Norwood.
