Lake Shore Savings and Loan Association, 128 E. Fourth St., will be expanding into a building it has just purchased across the street at 125 E. Fourth St.
The former law offices will be used as a lending center to serve the community, according to chief executive officer David Mancuso. Ten people will be working in the new office.
The Common Council granted the necessary "air easement" so that telephone lines can be strung across E. Fourth St. between the two buildings. The lines will be used to connect the computer and communications systems of the two buildings.
The thrift institution also has an office on East Main Street in Fredonia.
