Lester L. Scarbrough, 33, of 1778 Welch Ave. was arrested for attacking his girlfriend and their two children, police said
Scarbrough was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and on a second-degree harassment charge, police said. He pleaded innocent Tuesday to the endangerment charges in City Court, but has yet to be arraigned on the harassment charge.
He is accused of injuring his two 10-year-old children at 1:30 a.m. Saturday when they were trying to protect their mother, Darlene Richards, from him in their Welch Avenue home, according to court documents.
Ms. Richards and her children were treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for injuries they suffered during the incident.
Scarbrough was given an adjournment until April 12 to hire a lawyer to represent him.
