Country Park Child Care has received a $150,000 minority and women-owned business loan from the state Urban Development Corp. that will allow the Clarence firm to begin a $250,000 renovation project.
The expansion will lead to the addition of five full-time and four part-time jobs, the state agency said. The day care agency, located ay 8185 Sheridan Drive, will open an infant care center and create an educational center for preschoolers and toddlers.
The facility will conduct the expansion in two phases. The center first will acquire and renovate a home at 8469 Sheridan Drive to convert it into an infant day care facility.
It then will renovate its current infant facility into a computer and video learning center, office space, a library, kitchen and staff lounge.
