A 29-year-old city man who was injured late Tuesday in a bicycle-car crash was listed in fair condition early today in Erie County Medical Center with multiple injuries, a center official said.
Police are withholding the man's name until they notify his family, Lt. Arthur Casilio said.
The accident occurred at 10:33 p.m. on the 1300 block of Walnut Avenue when the man, riding his bike the wrong way on a one-way street, was struck head-on by a car, Casilio said. The man suffered head injuries, two broken wrists and a number of other injuries, he said.
No charges were lodged against the driver whose name also was withheld this morning.
