2 SOUGHT IN ROBBERY CAUGHT AFTER CHASE

Two brothers, wanted in the robbery of a 24th Street man, were arrested at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday following a short foot chase in the city's East Side, Detective Anthony Conte said.

Chester D. Harris, 33, of 1791 Welch Ave., and Paul A. Harris, 27, of 1363 Michigan Ave., were each charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest in the 400 block of Memorial Parkway by Conte and Detective John Donner.

They were arrested when they started to run after police spotted them at 10th and Falls streets.The brothers are accused of attacking Tommy George, 24, of 24th Street at the Holloway Inn, 1220 Falls St. at 1 a.m. Friday, striking him over the head with a wrench and forcibly taking $30 from one of his pockets, Conte said.
