The Orchard Park Village Board Monday night scheduled a budget hearing for 8:30 p.m. April 10.
The annual organizational meeting was set for the same date at 8 p.m. Appointments for the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals will be made at the organizational session.
"Any village residents who are interested in serving on either of these boards should send their resumes to the village," said Mayor Patricia A. Dickman. "We will be interviewing for these appointments."
Trustee Evelyn Weber said the traffic light at the intersection of Clark and South Buffalo Road, and the walk-don't walk signal at the southwest corner of Route 20A and South Buffalo Road were repaired. She also said the village will be engaged in a tree planting program until May 15.
Any residents with input as to where trees should be planted should contact Mrs. Weber.
The board also approved closing village streets for the following events:
"Cross Walk," a passion play scheduled from 1:15 to 2 p.m. Good Friday, April 14. Walkers will go from the Presbyterian Church on South Buffalo Street to St. Mark's Episcopal Church on East Quaker Street.
Little League Parade, noon May 6, with walkers proceeding from the Orchard Park Middle School to the Little League Park. The rain date will be May 7.
