OLLDAINE WOJCIECHOWSKI, OPERATED TAVERN

Olldaine Wojciechowski, 76, of Delevan died Monday (March 27, 1995) in Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, Springville, after a long illness.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Machias.

Born Olldaine Myrick in Ischua, she attended school in Machias. With her second husband, she owned and operated Smiley's Tavern in Ellicottville from 1958 until her retirement in 1978.

She was a former member of Odosagha Chapter 375, Order of the Eastern Star, of Machias and a member of the Cattaraugus County Liquor Association. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and crafts.

She was the widow of Roy T. Scott, whom she married in 1934 and who died in 1956, and Henry Wojciechowski, whom she married in 1957 and who died in 1986.

Surviving are two daughters, Eloise McGuire of West Seneca and Norma Lewandowski of Arcade; a brother, Ray Myrick of Florida; two sisters, Olga Stevens of Syracuse and Evelyn Murray of Oswego; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. [dndrsn]
