HOW TO GIVE A BOOK THAT WILL TOUCH A LIFE

The first Books for Kids drive runs Monday through April 24 and asks individuals, corporations and clubs or other organizations to help find 25,000 children's books that will be given to children through schools, churches, support groups and literacy agencies throughout the Niagara Frontier.

Books may be dropped off at any of the Buffalo and Erie County branch libraries or the Niagara Falls or Lockport libraries.

Checks, which can be used as tax-deductible contributions, may be written to:

Buffalo State Foundation "Books for Kids" and mailed to the foundation: Room 515 Cleveland Hall, 1300 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo 14222-1095.
