Four Buffalo firefighters suffered minor injuries battling two arsons at vacant homes Monday night, fire officials said.
Three of the injuries occurred at 384 Goodyear Ave., where a blaze was reported at 6:15 p.m. Damage to the 2 1/2 -story structure was estimated at $25,000, a fire dispatcher said. The injured firefighters were able to remain on duty.
So was the fourth, who was hurt at 111 Bennett St., the dispatcher said. That fire was reported at 9:48 p.m. and also involved a 2 1/2 -story structure. Damage was estimated at $500.
