A program on family safety, entitled "Play It Safe With Things That Want to Reach Out and Grab You," will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at C.J. Perry & Son Inc., 8401 Ridge Road.

The safe use of lawn mowers, snowblowers, weed whackers, snowmobiles, fire extinguishers, all terrain vehicles and some large farm equipment will be discussed. Jane Boyd, an agricultural health nurse, will demonstrate a new game to promote farm safety.

Those who are unable to arrive by 7 p.m. have been invited to go later, because there will be a rotation of presentations and demonstrations, and late arrivals will be permitted to join a rotation in progress. Refreshments will be served
at 9:30 p.m.

Sponsors include the Niagara County Cornell Cooperative Extension Service, C.J. Perry & Son farm equipment company, Consolidated Fire Extinguisher Co., Farm Bureau, Farm Credit of Western New York, and Niagara County 4-H committees.
