Services for Louis J. Filicetti of Conway, S.C., a retired mechanic, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Hardison Funeral Home, North Fourth and Ridge streets. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
Filicetti, 72, died Friday (March 24, 1995) in Conway Hospital, Conway.
He was born in Niagara Falls and lived in Lewiston for 35 years. He moved to Conway two years ago.
Filicetti was an amateur boxer and taught boxing at the Lewiston Boys Club.
He served as a Navy fire controlman for six years and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors Association.
Filicetti was a mechanic for Ransomville Bus Lines and Ridge Road Express in Lockport for 15 years, retiring in 1976.
His first wife, Norma Evans Filicetti, died in 1991.
Survivors include his wife, the former Eudella Fairchild; a son, Peter of Hamburg; his mother, Carmela of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Landis of Niagara Falls and Geri Sdao; and two grandsons.[mllvll]
