A private memorial service will be held for William J. Kavanagh, a retired auto body repairman for the U.S. Postal Service.
Kavanagh, 52, of Leisure Acres died Friday (March 24, 1995) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Rochester, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, the former Phyllis H. Batt; two sons, James and Ronald, both of Amherst; three stepdaughters, Keary Stahl and Carol Stahl, both of Buffalo, and Colleen Friedman of Lancaster; his parents, William and Esther Minoia Kavanagh of the Town of Tonawanda; three brothers, Ronald, Bernard and Kevin, all of the Town of Tonawanda; a sister, Eileen Spearman of North Tonawanda; and two grandchildren.[nstrng]
