Ellen Laipson, director of Near East and South Asian Affairs for the National Security Council, will give the annual Prince Lecture at 8 p.m. April 24 at the Nichols School Upper Campus. Ms. Laipson has served on the National Security Council staff since 1993. She has been a national intelligence officer for the Near East and South Asia for Central Intelligence Agency and has worked for the Library of Congress. A graduate of Cornell University, she has a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. The Prince Lecture was established in memory of the late Sidney Warren Prince Sr.
