Norman E. Gilbert Jr., retired maintenance supervisor of Houghton Nursing Home, died Saturday (March 25, 1995) in Buffalo General Hospital.
Gilbert, 67, a former resident of Pendleton, ran Norm's Corner Deli in Buffalo for 16 years.
He also played semipro football and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Gilbert resided in Lyndon in Cattaraugus County for the past 11 years.
He was past chief of Lyndon Volunteer Fire Company and a former member of Wendelville Fire Company.
Survivors include his wife, the former Jane Osykiewski; two daughters, Mary Lawrence of Fredonia and Judy Smith of the Town of Tonawanda; and a grandson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Colucci Funeral Home, 652 Oliver St., North Tonawanda.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.[trnst]
