3:20 -- 501 60th St., 60th Street School playground, harassment. A girl said she was scratched on her face when a female classmate attacked her.

4 -- 1601 Michigan Ave., criminal mischief. A Michigan Avenue woman said someone threw a bottle at her car, causing damage.

5:10 -- 700 block of 15th Street, assault. Martha J. Taite of 15th Street said a car containing four men sped up the street while she was crossing with her children. She yelled at the driver, who stopped and put the car in reverse. Three men got out and pushed her to the ground, bruising her knee and head and cutting her hand, she told police.

5:50 -- 5706 Stephenson Ave., burglary. A woman said a boy stole $40 and a charm necklace from her home.

7 -- 7200 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tops Markets, arrest. Joachim L. Veltman, 37, of Caistor Center, Ont., charged with petit larceny after a store security guard said he placed a gallon of chocolate milk and a videotape in a bag and tried to leave the store without paying.

8 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrest. Johnnie J. Richardson Jr., 23, of Ashland Avenue, charged with harassment.

8:51 -- Ninth Street and Garden Avenue, arrest. Victor L. Bullard, 30, of Fourth Street, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a seat belt.

9:26 -- 12 C Centre Court, arrest. Edward D. Maye, 22, of Ontario Avenue and Richard R. Hall Jr., 37, of Garden Avenue, each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

9:30 -- 12 B Centre Court, arrest. Craig Page, 23, of Hyde Park Boulevard, charged with disorderly conduct for fighting and threatening several people.

9:30 -- 1700 block of Elmwood Avenue, arrest. James E. Fallin Jr., 28, charged with failure to pay a fine.

9:31 -- 601 28th St., Niagara Christian Academy. A girl said another girl struck her in the face in a classroom.

11:40 -- 200 block of 82nd Street, arrest. Peter T. Wrobel, 46, charged with driving while intoxicated.

12:50 -- 2001 Pine Ave., Easy Pete's Restaurant and Lounge, arrest. Charles D. Clendening, 39, of Jerauld Avenue, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for yelling vulgarities and refusing a police request to leave.

1:34 -- 400 block of Third Street, arrest. Brian W. Koopman, 27, of Frederick Road, Town of Tonawanda, charged with exposing himself for allegedly urinating in traffic.

1:40 -- 460 Third St., Gibby's Island Lounge, assault. A Buffalo Avenue man said a man punched him several times in the face.

2:30 -- 1778 Welch Ave., assault. A Welch Avenue woman said a man slapped and punched her during an argument. She said the man also hit her son with a broom and hit her daughter in the hand. All three were treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, police said.

2:40 -- Parking lot of 518 Main St., arrest. Wayne M. Barnhardt, 41, of Fort Erie, Ont., charged with criminal possession of stolen property after police saw him rifling through a purse that was reported stolen by a St. Catharines, Ont., woman who said she last saw it on a pinball machine at Unc's bar on Third Street.

9:25 -- 9018 South Military Road, criminal mischief. A 102nd Street man said someone smashed the windshield of his motor home with a rock while it was parked overnight near a home he is remodeling.

11:05 -- 7721 Niagara Falls Blvd., Pizza Hut, petit larceny. A manager said an employee who was supposed to make a bank deposit of $921.62 on March 16 never made the deposit.

1:30 -- 423 Elmwood Ave., garage, criminal mischief. A woman said someone damaged her garage door while trying to gain entry.

2:15 -- 18th Street and South Avenue, harassment. A North Avenue man said a man slapped him with the back of his hand and threatened to harm him.
