NIAGARA FALLS POLICE CALLS THURSDAY

4 -- 1625 Lockport St., Harry F. Abate School, harassment. A 10-year-old boy said a group of youths approached him on the way home from school, one picked him up and another kicked him, injuring his elbow.

5:15 -- 3010 Pine Ave., arrest. Sean M. Herbert, 19, of Pine Avenue, charged with disorderly conduct and loitering.

6:04 -- 1824 Weston Ave., criminal mischief. Edith Coble said several youths climbed on top of her garage and broke her backyard fence gate.

6:15 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrest. James E. Barkley Jr., 37, of South Gate, charged with harassment.

6:15 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Delmont R. Burch, 17, of Plum Walk, charged with violation of probation.

6:17 -- 8297 Niagara Falls Blvd., Fashion Bug, larceny. The assistant manager said a woman stole a pair of shoes.

7 -- 300 Third St., Radisson Hotel, theft of services and offering a false instrument for filing. An employee said a woman paid for a room with a check for $109, which was returned by the bank.

7:05 -- 400 block of Memorial Parkway, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. A 15-year-old girl said a woman hit her.

8:25 -- 1055 Fairfield Ave., larceny. Erica S. Hall said a blouse and jeans were taken from under the front seat of her car.

9:25 -- 500 block of Ninth Street, arrest. Dennis M. Fagiani Sr., 29, of Cleveland Avenue, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, two counts of driving with a suspended registration, no insurance, no front plate and improper plates.

9:45 -- 2100 block of 18th Street, arrest. Robert J. Ninham Jr., 26, of 18th Street, charged with use of alcohol in public.

9:48 -- 2400 block of Pine Avenue, arrest. Larry L. Smith Jr., 24, of Raleigh, N.C., charged with use of false registration, improper use of an inspection sticker, disobeying flashing red lights and misuse of a transporter plate.

10:50 -- 1900 block of Falls Street, arrest. Robert L. D'Amico, 34, of 23rd Street, charged with loitering.

12:45 -- 3716 Highland Ave., harassment. Robert L. Madden said a man punched him in the face.

12:47 -- 704 Eighth St., assault and criminal mischief. Stacey Thompson said a man kicked in her apartment door and punched her three times in the face.

1:36 -- 1220 Falls St., Holloway Inn, assault and robbery. Tommy D. George said five men jumped him inside the bar and one hit him in the head with a monkey wrench and took $30 from a pocket.

1:58 -- 10th and Niagara streets, arrest. Peter J. Sullivan, 40, of Niagara Falls, Ont., charged with driving while intoxicated and driving left of center.

2:20 -- Whirlpool and Main streets, arrest. Jeffery S. Leung, 25, of Burlington, Ont., charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to signal.

2:55 -- One Niagara St., arrest. Darryl R. Filo, 22, of Welland, Ont., charged with driving while intoxicated and imprudent speed. State Parks Police said his blood alcohol content was .16 percent.

6:58 -- 400 block of Third Street, criminal mischief and larceny. Treasure L. Butcher said a vent window of her car was broken and a set of house keys was taken.

7:16 -- 1000 Portage Road, Tops Festival Store, arrest. Norma Harris, 40, of Memorial Parkway, charged with petit larceny after an employee said she tried to leave without paying for seven packs of cigarettes in her purse.

8:26 -- 314 75th St., criminal mischief. John P. Fennell said someone forced his car door open, damaging the front fender, and damaged a stereo head set.

8:45 -- 1531 Pierce Ave., burglary. Shelley Warren said her rented VCR was taken from her unlocked apartment.

8:48 -- 214 70th St., attempted petit larceny. Kenneth Keller said someone entered his vehicle and ransacked the interior.

9:29 -- 1429 Wyoming Ave., criminal mischief. Maryann Tierney said a basement window and screen were damaged with a BB or pellet.

9:30 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Jermainel A. Harris, 20, of Welch Avenue, charged with assault.

10 -- 1957 Cudaback Ave., larceny. Stephanie Zmudzinski said a man took her car stereo and damaged the dashboard.

10:30 -- 607 Walnut Ave., Board of Education Administration Building, larceny. Report of a multiband radio taken from the basement's smoking room.

11 -- 2500 Pine Ave., arrest. Gohar A. Chaudry, 26, of Violet Circle, Wheatfield, charged with driving while license revoked, passing a flashing red light and no insurance.

2:45 -- 3520 Highland Ave., Alrick's Automotive, criminal mischief. Latesa S. Ellison said a someone painted obscenities all over her mother's car and punctured all four tires.
