HELEN CLIFTON, PIANO TEACHER FOR 40 YEARS

Services for Helen Clifton, 85, of Garlow Road, a piano teacher and a founder of the Colonial Village Garden Club, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.

She died Friday (March 24, 1995) in Fairchild Manor Nursing Home, Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.

The former Helen Foster was born in Niagara Falls and lived in this area all her life.

She worked at the former Spirella Company in Niagara Falls for 17 years and at the Carborundum Company during World War II.

She also taught piano for more than 40 years in Niagara Falls and Colonial Village. She was a member of Colonial Village Presbyterian Church and many music organizations in the Niagara Falls and Buffalo areas.

Her husband, Ernest, died in 1975.

She is survived by two brothers, Jack C. and Howard G. Foster, both of Niagara Falls. [n/string]
