HAROLD SPUTE, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT

A memorial service for Harold W. Spute, a certified public accountant and Westfield native, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lakewood Park United Methodist Church, Lakewood Park, Fla.

He died Thursday (March 23, 1995) in his Fort Pierce, Fla., home after a lengthy illness.

Spute, 80, was a certified public accountant with Lucker, Kennedy, Felmeden and Spute. He was a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and a past president of its Buffalo chapter. He also was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He was a past president of Orchard Park Country Club and a life member of Summit Lodge 219, F&AM, in Westfield. He was a member of Lakewood Park United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Catherine L.; two sons, H. William Jr. of Plantation, Fla., and James M. of Hamburg; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
