A Mass of Christian Burial for Harold C. Clawson, 77, a retired accountant and administrative assistant for E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. and a former Buffalo resident, will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John's-Holy Angels Catholic Church, Newark, Del.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, Del.
Clawson, a graduate of Canisius College and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, died Wednesday (March 23, 1995) in Franciscan Care Center, Brackenville, Del.
He worked for Du Pont in the Town of Tonawanda and in Wilmington for 43 years until his retirement in 1981.
He was a 50-year member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and served as its Eastern regional chairman for six years and Wilmington Council president for 10 years.
His wife, Helen E. Ollari Clawson, died in 1991.
Surviving are four daughters, Ann M. of Laurel, Md., Mary A. Goering of Milton, Del., Margaret M. Brooks of Galena, Md., and Rose Clawson Annone of New Castle, Del.; a son, Paul J. of Newark, Del.; three sisters, Marion Hotchkiss of Wilmington, Catherine Burns and Betty Briggs; and 10 grandchildren.
