Again, he is sticking his nose into the city's business. Again, he is going to cost the citizens of Buffalo (a city whose population is diminishing drastically and whose coffers, like Mother Hubbard's cupboard, are bare) MONEY! He is the best argument for term limits for all appointed judges, from the Supreme Court on down.
Who is this man, who chooses what cases he will adjudicate, as long as it isn't against the dregs of society -- the drug dealers -- even though he is being paid by the taxpayers and living off the public trough?
Who is this man, who should have retired 25 years ago, maybe even the day he was appointed to the federal judgeship? John T. Curtin.
The time has now come to start a movement to limit the terms of our appointed judiciary. They caused enough divisiveness in this country for the past 35 years.
