A Mass of Christian Burial for Arcangelo Domenico Colozza, a retired laborer, will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1055 Military Road, Niagara Falls, after prayers at 9:30 in Otto Redanz LaSalle Park Chapel, 2215 Military Road. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
Colozza, 80, of Carol Court, died Wednesday (March 22, 1995) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Macchiagodena, Italy, and was a high school graduate and farmer in Italy. He served in the Italian army during World War II, moving to Niagara Falls in 1954.
He worked for many contractors in the Niagara Falls area through Local 91, Laborers Union. He retired in 1977.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Antoinetta Gentile; two daughters, Jenny Barile of Sanborn and Rose Basso of Niagara Falls; a brother, Carmen of Sao Paulo, Brazil; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
