WOMAN WAITING FOR BUS IS ATTACKED BY 2 TEENS

A Linwood Avenue woman was injured when two teen-agers attacked her while she was waiting for a bus to get to work at 7:35 a.m. Wednesday at 10th Street and Michigan Avenue, Officer Michael Kachurek said.

Alice Draper, 30, was treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for facial abrasions and lacerations, abrasions and bruises to her hands, elbows and knees and damage to her teeth, Kachurek said.

Ms. Draper said she was injured when two black males approached her and asked her for money, Kachurek said. When she said she had none, the pair attacked her, punching her in the face with their fists and knocking her to the ground; knocking out one of her teeth and loosening several others, Kachurek said.

One of the teen-agers was wearing a blue sports coat and the other, a black jacket. Both had short hair.
