MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD SATURDAY FOR ETHEL B. AND S. EDWARD EGGLESTON

A memorial service for Ethel B. and S. Edward Eggleston, who both enjoyed gardening, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Nativity Lutheran Church, 1260 E. Main St., East Aurora.

The former Ethel Baker, 87, died Monday (March 20, 1995) in Harris Hill Health Care Facility, Lancaster.

Her husband of 61 years died Saturday (March 18, 1995) in their home in Depew. He was 86.

Mrs. Eggleston was born in Cambria and attended local schools. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Eggleston, also native of Cambria, was a retired production manager for Carborundum Co.

They had a hobby vineyard, whose grapes they sold to Welch's.

Survivors include two sons, Albert of Maine and Alan of Ohio; a daughter, Sharon George of Elma; and six grandchildren. Eggleston also is survived by a brother, Watson of Johnson City.
