American Precision Industries has promoted four executives to head major divisions.

Craig J. Van Tine has been promoted to president of the Basco Division in Cheektowaga. Van Tine has 26 years with API, most recently as general manager of the Air Technologies Division. Van Tine holds an associate's degree in civil technology from Erie Community College and attended the University at Buffalo and Purdue University.

Barry Bistis has been named president of the Deltran Division in Cheektowaga. He formerly held various management positions at Electroid Co., most recently as operations manager. Bistis holds a bachelor's degree in marketing/management from Monmouth College.

Jack J. Bellomo has been named president of the Air Technologies Division in Arcade. He has 20 years of manufacturing and materials management experience, most recently as program manager for new products at Valeo Engine Cooling.

And, Donald J. MacIntyre Jr. has been named president of the Controls Division in Cheektowaga. He has 20 years experience in the design and development of new products in power electronics and motor drives. Prior to joining API, MacIntyre headed an engineering section, Electronic and Systems Division, of Moog Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree from Clarkson University, and master's degrees in electronic engineering and business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Offermann, Cassano, Pigott & Greco, a Buffalo law firm, has named Richard C. Slisz a partner. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Canisius College, a master's in taxation from New York University and a law degree from Albany Law School of Union University. He will concentrate on business law, elder law, trusts, tax planning and matrimonial law.

Putnam Mutual Funds in Boston has announced that Merri Carol Hall and Kellie A. Will have qualified for membership in its 22nd annual Golden Scale Council. Investment professionals, Ms. Hall is employed at Empire Financial Services and Ms. Will at Key Brokerage Co. Inc. They were honored for achieving the highest professional standards in serving investors during 1994.
