WRIGHT'S LEGACY IS HAILED IN THE BIG APPLE

Just recently I experienced the excitement of visiting the Frank Lloyd Wright Exhibit ongoing at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Buffalonians should be aware of the credit it gives to our city regarding the Darwin Martin House and the razed Larkin Building.

I felt much pride observing the space Buffalo was given in this exhibit. People stood hours in line from all over the world to view Wright's works.

All this brings me to the reason for this letter. The University at Buffalo Architectural School is overseeing the complete restoration of the Darwin Martin House and probably can use any funding the community may choose to offer toward this project.

When completed, the house will be another precious gem in Western New York. MYRA GITTERE
