Gino L. Fontanarosa, 70, of 77th Street, a retired employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., died Monday (April 25, 1994) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Niagara Falls, Fontanarosa served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in the maintenance department at the Goodyear plant on 56th Street for 23 years until he retired in 1986.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the 25- Year Club at Goodyear.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Carbello; a son, Peter G.; three daughters, Susan Smith of Wheatfield, Ann Lyon of Baltimore and Diane Sams of Lenoir City, Tenn.; a sister, Raffaela Frisina; two brothers, Guido of Lewiston and Albert; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, following prayers at 8:45 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
