250 FEMALE STUDENTS TO ATTEND SEMINAR ON CAREER AWARENESS

About 250 female students from 25 local school districts will attend a career awareness seminar sponsored by Western New York Women in Administration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 3 in Salvatore's Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road, Town of Lancaster.

The program -- called "Unlock the Door: Reach Your Potential" -- will include workshops on self-esteem, leadership skills and non-traditional careers.

In addition, Jennifer Campbell, a Kenmore West Senior High School student, will speak on her internship at Millard Fillmore Hospital.

Pupils in grade 5-8 will have the opportunity to meet with more than 40 professional women, said Kathleen Curatolo, program chairwoman and executive director of the Niagara Frontier Industry-Education Council.
