A spaghetti dinner to raise money for a Canisius College freshman critically injured when his car was hit by a man charged with drunken driving will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. today in the Silver Creek Firemen's Club in the Jackson Street Firehouse.

The dinner, which costs $5 for adults and $3.50 for children, will benefit Jeffrey Brown, 19, of Derby, who faces his third surgery today in Erie County Medical Center since the April 6 accident in the Town of Evans, according to his aunt, Andrea Haxton of Lackawanna.

Brown was returning home from the movies with his girlfriend when a car driven by Terry King, 36, crossed the center line on Route 20, hit Brown's vehicle and rolled into a ditch.
