MARY ANN GODLEWSKI, RAN FALLS RESTAURANT

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Godlewski, former owner of a restaurant at Mackenna Avenue and 22nd Street in Niagara Falls, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Niagara and 24th streets, Niagara Falls.

Prayers will be said at 9 in LaBuda Funeral Home, 356 Portage Road, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.

Mrs. Godlewski, 85, of Packard Road, died Friday (May 28, 1993) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.

A native of Niagara Falls, the former Mary Ann Stempien was a former employee of International Paper Co. and worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp. for 20 years until she retired in 1948.

Mrs. Godlewski and her husband, Edward C., operated Eddie and Mary's Restaurant in Niagara Falls for 18 years.

Her husband died in 1984.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.

Survivors include a son, Edward R.; a daughter, Dorothy Bak; a sister, Millie Accivactti of Detroit; four brothers, Matthew Stempien of Niagara Falls, Walter Stempien of Elk Grove, Ill., Stanley Stempien of Hamilton, Ont., and Frank Stempien of Massachusetts; and three grandchildren.
