The Eastern Hills Mall movie theaters -- which briefly closed -- have reopened under new management and will continue to be a first-run movie house.

The films currently playing are the Ted Danson-Whoopi Goldberg comedy "Made in America," the popular romance "Benny and Joon" and the Robert Redford-Demi Moore hit "Indecent Proposal."

The new proprietor of the theaters is Bernard Clement, who also operates the Seneca Mall Theaters, the Amherst Theater and the North Park Theater.

Eastern Hills is one of two area theaters built and operated by General Cinema Theaters that were recently closed by General Cinema. The other is the Boulevard Mall Theater, which will be razed to make room for another business.
