Canisius College Scholarship Associates will elect and install officers at a meeting and luncheon June 10 at 10:30 a.m. in Transit Valley Country Club.
Becky Greenwald, nominating chairwoman, will introduce a single slate of officer candidates. Nominees are first vice president, Eleanor Laky; third vice president, Mrs. Greenwald; corresponding secretary, Clare Witkowski; financial secretary, Patricia Zasadil; assistant financial secretary, Mary Eberl; treasurer, Mary Ann Pyrak; directors, Barbara Mariano, Joan Heine, Helen Reilly, Diane Enright, Nancy Hartnett. Roselle Roux continues as president.
Dr. Kenneth A. Krakow, chief of orthopedic surgery in Buffalo General Hospital, will speak on changes in orthopedic surgery and reconstructive alternatives for the adult.
Dr. Krakow has done demonstration knee and hip replacement surgeries in western European and South American countries and in the Middle East. He also will discuss new treatments available for arthritic pain sufferers.
Mrs. Eberl is chairwoman of the luncheon. Joan Connell, the college's new vice president for academic affairs, will be introduced.
