More than $2,100 in combined theft and damages was done to six parked vehicles early Tuesday in the city's LaSalle area, police said.

Three pairs of glasses worth $400, 50 cassette tapes worth $400, and a $200 CB radio were stolen from the car of Michael Krueger at 220 63rd Street, Officer Kevin Kohnke said.

About $500 damage was done to the steering column of another car at 184 63rd Street; a $110 weed-whacker was stolen from a truck outside 236 63rd Street and an undetermined amount of tools were taken from a car at 175 63rd Street, Kohnke said.

Officer Anne Attfield said a $250 car stereo system was stolen from a car parked 140 61st Street. About $300 in tires and rims were stolen from another car at 917 Pasadena Ave., police said.
