A memorial service for Richard M. Klein, a Buffalo native and long-time title searcher, will be held at noon Monday in the family compound on Lake Shore Road, Long Beach, Ont.
Klein, 59, died May 16, 1993, in his home in Dunedin, Fla., following a short illness. A service was held Friday in the Chapel by the Sea, Clearwater, Fla.
A resident of Dunedin since 1973, Klein was employed by Guardian Title Co., St. Petersburg. Before moving to Florida, he had worked for Buffalo Abstract & Title Co.
He was a graduate of Bennett High School and attended the University of Buffalo.
Klein is survived by a son, Richard of Conway, Mass.; two daughters, Debra Stoeckert of Wales Center and Linda DeDiego of Brandon, Fla.; three brothers, William of Amherst, James of East Aurora and Edward of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three sisters, Barbara Holland of East Aurora, Margaret Kubisty of Snyder and Marcia; and seven grandchildren.
