Tuition for full-time students at Jamestown Community College will increase by $180 a year in September, but the rate of $1,980 is still below the $2,100 cap set by the SUNY trustees.
Tuition for part-time students will be $77 per credit hour, up from $70. Non-resident students will pay $3,960 per year, up $360. Part-time non-resident students will pay $140 per credit hour, up $12.
"This community college is committed to providing access to higher education for area residents. These tuition rates will allow us to maintain the high quality of education offered here, while providing opportunities for as many students as possible," said Gary W. Winger, dean of administration.
