CORRECTION

In a story published in Saturday's editions of The Buffalo News about violence on television, the Associated Press erroneously attributed remarks to NBC Entertainment President Warren Littlefield regarding ABC's program "Murder in the Heartland."

It was Capital Cities-ABC Chairman Thomas Murphy who said: "We thought it was a good idea at the time." But it got poor ratings and was "an economic disaster."
