Arline Kirsch of Kenmore declared she "just had to sit down" so she could better absorb the information that she had won first prize in SUPER JINGO 575. This wonderful prize consists of a trip for two via USAir to St. Petersburg, Fla., and $500 cash.

"You won't believe me when I tell you this, but my sister won the JINGO first prize a long time ago -- and now it's me!" she said.

Mrs. Kirsch plans to take her daughter, Marilyn Houston, with her. "What a great time we'll have," she said. Mrs. Kirsch plays the game every week and won a prize about five years ago.

The Don CeSar Hotel is the setting for this dream trip. It is located on the beautiful stretch of sand called St. Pete Beach and is a historic Florida hotel with all the modern amenities.

This world-class castle crowns the Gulf Coast, and, along with the breathtaking views, offers the vacationer an array of pleasures. Nearby our winners can parasail, jet ski, swim, sail, fish or just laze in the sun. The hotel is a short drive to Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World and other central Florida attractions.

Travel arrangements are courtesy of USAir, which currently flies to more than 165 cities in the United States and Canada, as well as Bermuda, Nassau, London and Frankfurt, Germany.

Other top prize winners in SUPER JINGO Game 575 include:

James Cottrell of Orchard Park, an $800 gift certificate from KML Sales Inc.

Sandra Cammarata of Buffalo, two nights accommodation for two in Toronto.

Audrey Smithmeyer of Buffalo, two season tickets to the Broadway Series matinees at Shea's Buffalo Theater.

Walter C. Kielbasa of Cheektowaga, showroom detailing for his car from DeltaSonic.

Second prize winner Cottrell was going to receive a big surprise when he walked in the door. His wife Leona said he plays SUPER JINGO every week. "I'm shocked that The News is calling. I thought sure it was an appointment being canceled that James was preparing to attend. This is much better!"

She said her husband began playing when JINGO first started, and he won $25 about five years ago and also movie tickets. This time they can go to KML Sales and pick out $800 worth of furniture.

Mrs. Cammarata teaches in two schools, so her husband Peter answered his business phone at the Broadway Market and happily accepted her third prize for Game 575. "We'll love a weekend in Toronto. We haven't been able to get away for awhile, but now we have much to celebrate, so this super trip will make us both very happy."

He said his wife has been playing JINGO a long time and never won, but she kept trying. "This must be our lucky day," he said. "Earlier today I won the Quick Pick in the Lottery. We'll remember May 20."

Season tickets for the Broadway Matinee Series at Shea's went to this week's fourth-prize winner, Mrs. Smithmeyer. "The first time I won, after two years of playing, I received movie tickets. My daughter Heidi checks the winners' list each Sunday, but she missed that one. I'll steer toward it this week," Mrs. Smithmeyer said. Both her husband, Douglas, and her daughter will undoubtedly share the extra seat. "We all like musicals," she said.

The fifth-prize winner was outside working in his garden when he received the news of his successful entry. "About time I won something," Kielbasa remarked. Then he added that he had received a dinner about six or seven years ago. This time his car will receive a showroom detailing from DeltaSonic. "Well, I'll be interested to see just what that is," he said.

Remember, it is not necessary to write or phone The Buffalo News if you are one of the other 45 winners. Prizes will automatically be mailed to you shortly.
