The Niagara Falls Chapter of the American Red Cross and the McDonald's at 460 Center St., will present a program on summer safety from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday . There will be free refreshments and prize drawings.

Basic water safety will be presented in half-hour sessions from noon to 2 p.m. for kindergartners through second-graders. Grades 3-6 can participate in basic first-aid training from 3 to 5 p.m., and from 3 to 4 p.m. children can learn ways to prevent drowning, safety precautions for swimming and boating and rescue procedures.

Bike safety and rules as well as motor vehicle safety information will be offered from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Through May 28, McDonald's will feature a special safety pamphlet in its "Out for Fun" Happy Meal and, for parents, an adult-orientated safety brochure will be available free at the McDonald's "Did You Know?" display.
