After taking a cruise to the Bahamas and traveling to Orlando, Fla., John S. Magiera and his bride, the former Jacqueline M. Arrigenna, will make their home in Piffard. The Rev. James Burke heard their vows at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Avon.
Mr. and Mrs. James E. Arrigenna of Piffard are the bride's parents. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Magiera of West Seneca. A reception was given in Batavia Party House.
The bride and bridegroom are on the faculty of York Central School, Retsof. She, a first grade teacher, is a graduate of Geneseo State College where she earned a master's degree in special education. She coaches cheerleading and team sports. He is a graduate of Brockport State College where he earned a master's degree in physical education and is an elementary and high school physical education teacher and a high school athletics coach.
