MONEY SUPPLY RISES IN WEEK

Measures of the nation's money supply rose in the week ended Dec. 17, the Federal Reserve Board reported Friday.

The narrowest measure of the money supply, M1, rose $3.2 billion to a seasonally adjusted $823.9 billion; M2 rose $4.6 billion to $3,323.4 billion, and the broadest measure, M3, rose $5.1 billion to $4,093.2 billion.
