I know the fear of the loved ones left behind during this gulf crisis.
I am the wife of an absolutely wonderful and kind man who also happens to a member of the regular Army deployed to the deserts of Saudi Arabia.
I, too, spend a great deal of time crying, praying and just trying to get through another day without my husband. I, too, cannot concentrate.
I fear so for his safety. I couldn't bear to live without him. He is my best friend, the light of my life.
I have been blessed by having found such a sensitive and loving man. I do not want to lose him -- especially over a crisis that could and should be worked out peacefully. We claim to be an intelligent society but we do not act it. War really doesn't solve anything. Haven't we learned that yet? Bring the soldiers home.
We should be capable of solving this problem sensibly and without violence.
