A Mass of Christian Burial for George Butlin, 67, will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, South Avenue and 11th Street.
Prayers will be said at 8:30 in the Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.
A native of Philipsburg, Pa., Butlin died Friday (Dec. 21, 1990) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Butlin, a resident of Niagara Falls since the 1950s, served in the Army during World War II. An infantryman, he attained the rank of corporal before his discharge in 1944.
He was a long-time employee of Moore Business Forms, working as a machine operator for 44 years. He retired in 1984 and was active in the company's retirees' club.
Butlin also an avid bowler and golfer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jane M. Rodzinski; a daughter, Barbara Burke; a son, Gerald of Saudi Arabia; his stepfather, Harold Peters of Philipsburg; two brothers, William of Hollywood, Fla., and Thomas of Rochester, and a granddaughter.
