Services for Edward M. Wierzbowski, 76, of Oxbow Lane, a retired employee of the Carborundum Co. in Wheatfield, will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., North Fourth and Ridge streets. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Wierzbowski, a native of Nanticoke, Pa., died Thursday (Dec. 20, 1990) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital.

He lived in Lewiston since 1954 and retired in 1977 after a 30-year career with Carborundum.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Lake Ontario Post 313, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a member and usher at St. George's Catholic Church, Niagara Falls, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; a sister, Margaret Geugeius of Nanticoke, and two grandchildren.
