DEPEW BURGLAR GETS THREE-YEAR PRISON SENTENCE

A Depew man who pleaded guilty to a June burglary in the Town of Elma has been sentenced in State Supreme Court to 3 to 5 years in prison, Erie County Sheriff Thomas F. Higgins said Friday.

Thomas A. Kotlik, 29, of Harvard Place entered a North Davis Road home and stole jewelry and video equipment while the residents were at a relative's funeral, the sheriff said.

Kotlik was arrested several days after the burglary.
